Greetings, friends!
Just wanted to give you all an update on the status of the zine! Response has been really lovely and we’ve gotten in some really nice submissions so far! Some of you have been worried about not making the March 15th deadline, so hopefully we can ease your minds a bit by…
We have extended the deadline by another two weeks! Go! Go! Go!

A drawing I did last Fall of my Boy character from Animal Crossing: Wild World.
In case you haven’t heard, my friend Meghan and I are curating a zine celebrating all things Animal Crossing to hopefully coincide with the North American release of Animal Crossing: New Leaf in Late Spring/Early Summer of this year. While I can’t say too much about it, the line-up of artists who have expressed interest in contributing is super exciting to say the least. We are still looking for submissions! If you are an AC fan and want your AC-related art, comics, or stories in our zine, head on over to our freshly-minted Tumblr page for all the details. The deadline is March 15, 2012.I
t’s going to be good, folks! Real good.
Attention fans of Animal Crossing! We are looking for your submissions for our Animal Crossing fanzine. Tentatitively titled Animal Crosszine, it will be comprised of comics, stories and fan art celebrating Animal Crossing! Here is everything you need to know:- Submissions must be about…
GUUUUUUUUYSSSSS.

If you are in the Montreal area next weekend, you should definitely come to Expozine - Montreal’s annual small press, comic and zine fair. I just found out today that I’ll be tabling on the Sunday only! It’s my first time tabling at a con and I’m simultaneously jumping for joy and pooping my pants!
Come see me and say hi and I promise I will awkwardly/nervously stare back at you with extreme appreciation. I will have my Monsters art zine, last year’s sketchbook zine, a few copies of my mini-comic with Meghan, some original art, Animal Crossing stickers and hopefully my copies of the Pete & Pete zine will make it to me in time.
It’ll be fun, sweaty, amazing. <3

I made it into Ahoy, Booty! Vol.01 - the highly anticipated butt zine curated by Lainey Diamond and Emily Partridge. Here’s a sneak peek at my submission. Be sure to follow the official Ahoy, Booty! butt blog (tastefully NSFW, TONS of butts) for future info about the zine and how you can pre-order it. It’s going to be gooooood.
Pretty Pony, issue 2: Don’t Touch My Remote.
A zine dedicated to one of my truest loves: television.GUYS, this is finally out! I’m so excited!
But first of all: I want to thank everybody that helped me out on this, spreading the word about the zine or submitting illustrations. You guys are THE BEST, and I just don’t know how to thank you enough.
Unfortunately I could not have all the submitted illustrations featured on the zine :( I know it is a bummer, and I apologize for that.
One way or the other, I hope you all enjoy the zine! And I would love to read your comments and opinions on it.
P.S.: all the texts on the zine is in portuguese (SORRY), because, after all, this is a school project and I still live in Brazil.
Everyone check out Irena’s online TV-related zine! I have a Venture Bros. piece in it, too! :D
.Lusus Naturae - Monster Art by Justin Wayne Woo.
24 pages of ink drawings featuring fan art of some of my favorite monsters from pop culture and literature, as well as a handful of original monster creations of my own. I’m really pleased at how it turned out.
8.5 inches by 5.5 inches, 24 pages, black & white (cover printed on nice card stock), limited to 100 copies, 10$ (including shipping to anywhere in North America).
Get it here. You can else check out the rest of my shop for my previous art book and mini-comic. Thanks!
Pete, Pete and Petunia from The Adventures of Pete & Pete.
This was my submission for Waiting for October - A Tribute to The Adventures of Pete & Pete: an AWESOME collaborative zine put together by Rachel Edidin and Miles Stokes and featuring content from a ton of talented artists and writers. I was pleased to see that it is the first piece of artwork to appear immediately following the table of contents. :) If you grew up watching Nick at Night in the 90s and are a fan of this show, you basically owe it to yourself to get a copy! I’m told it is currently headed for a second printing and proceeds (aside from the cost of printing) will be going to the VH1 Save the Music Foundation.
