Hi Friends,
We just added a small amount of books to the store. This will be the last batch of orders for a little while. If you are in the Montreal area, I will have a few copies at Otakuthon in August along with some of my other personal zines. You can still get…

Brush off your buffalo plaid: Portland is finally getting its very own Adventures of Pete & Pete reunion show, hosted by the Hollywood Theater!
PetesFest is an all-ages event, featuring two nights of Q&A, live music, and more, with Adventures of Pete & Pete creators Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi, and actors Michael C. Maronna (Big Pete), Danny Tamberelli (Little Pete), and Toby Huss (Artie); along with a Pete & Pete-themed art show, KrebScout merit badges, the re-release of Pete & Pete tribute zine Waiting for October, and much, much more.
The Adventures of Pete & Pete aired on Nickelodeon between 1989 and 1996, first as a series of minute-long shorts, followed by five summer specials and finally three regular seasons. 20 years later, its appeal holds: Allmusic called it “the greatest children’s show ever,” and IGN described it as “One of the best-written kids shows ever.” In 2011 and 2012, Pete & Pete reunion shows played to sold-out audiences in New York and California; this is the first in the Pacific Northwest.
Any profits from PetesFest will benefit homeless-youth mentorship program P:ear and the Hollywood Theater’s youth education initiatives.
This October I will be participating in Light Grey Art Lab’s ROLEMODELS show! Here is the artist line-up/announcement!
I am a Rogue.
(In role-playing games I almost always choose this class, favoring stealth and skill over brute strength)
Light Grey Art Lab is an amazing art gallery located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are known for curating some really creatively-themed art shows throughout the year. I always wanted to participate in one of their gallery shows and this one looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun!
Woo!
Hi everyone! As we get closer to New Leaf, here on the Animal Crosszine blog we are going to start posting all of the submissions we received that didn’t make it into the final printed zine. There is still a ton of content that needs to be seen!
As for the zine itself, if you pre-ordered a copy they are going out this weekend and during the following week. Once those are all sent, I’ll check the inventory of remaining books and put the link back up on the shop. You can still get a nice digital copy of the zine HERE.
In the meantime, please enjoy some more amazing AC art under the cut!
